MAKLA (Vincent Ciccomascolo and Max Maggi) is a young italian dj/producer duo based in Cologne, Germany. Moved to Cologne, Germany in 2015 they started developing their sound and playing in their hometown clubs Bootshaus and many other clubs around Germany, Denmark, Italy and Holland. In spring 2017 their sound brought them to play at Noa Beach Club mainstage in Croatia, one of the best clubs in the world.

In Summer 2018 Makla started to get booked at their first german festivals like Electrisize, where they played at the first edition of the Blackout Stage. In October 2019 Makla is playing at the first edition of Blacklist Festival, germany´s best bass event. They’re supported from major acts like Excision, Boaz Van De Beatz, Boombox Cartel, Valentino Khan, Aazar, 4B, Ookay, Laidback Luke, Mike Cervello, Junkie Kid, Dyro, Borgore, YOOKiE, Mightyfools and many more, having tracks played on radios hows like Diplo & Friends, Beats Radio One, Annie Nightingale, UFK Radio.
To name a few of important supports – ‘Grind’ on LA’s label spirited was supported at Ultra Miami 2017 and EDC Orlando 2017 by Boombox Cartel and ‘Raw’ was supported by Valentino Khan at UMF 2018.
Makla has released on some of the best labels in the Jungle Terror, Trap, Bass genre like Barong Family, Mixmash Records, Armada Music, Riotville, Harsh Records, La Clinica Records. Starting from December 2018 they started to get more exposure on Spotify reaching almost 8Ok monthly listeners in less than a month.
Their release Meet Me At Bootshaus was included in Spotify´s Hype Playlist alongside big names in the industry. One of their biggest release was in october 2018 they released their first track on Barong
Family, called ‘Drop Like’ featuring Mr. Shammi, the track was included in the ‘Family Matters vol.1’ compilation, which includes many of the most promising talents around the globe. Live they’re always catching the vibes with energetic and various sets becoming a name to watch out in the Jungle/Global Bass/Trap genre, keeping their own hard-hitting sound.
