- Whats the Best thing about your Life and What you do in the Music Industry? Event to play?
As a producer, it’s an amazing feeling to play out your own music around the world and see all the emotions that your music bring to people. Also, the like-minded friends you make while touring is a massive bonus.
- What single night out has been the most memorable for you as DJ’s and producer?
It’s incredibly hard to pick just one, but if I have to, being invited to Paul van Dyk’s album launch in Berlin and getting a hug and bow from the man on stage is something I’ll always treasure.
- How do you get a track started? Tell us a bit about your production process. How long does it take you to complete a track on average, do you ever get writer’s block and who has been your favourite collab?
Usually I begin with a melody idea. It might be something running around my head or inspiration I’ve drawn from another song. From there I’ll build around it. I would say it takes about 3 days to complete a full track, but that process might be spread over a month or two as I work on a lot of music for myself and for other people. I get writer’s block all the time..some days you just don’t feel it. As for collaborations, I’ve been lucky enough to have worked with some of my heroes as well as great friends. My collab with Paul van Dyk was the one that stood out as Stronger Together became such a massive hit, but my collaborations with Roger Shah and Binary Finary were also really big for me
