Midnight Kids rally around a youthful sentiment crafted by dreamers, believers and late night rebels. In a world that prides itself on being more connected than ever, the same cannot be said about its people who tuck their fears, doubts and insecurities under the covers. Midnight Kids are rewriting the script, encouraging people to be comfortable with their story.
Midnight Kids’ story began a bit over a year ago when Kyle Girard and Dylan Lee first met and instantly connected on a vision and sound they were both striving toward. Since then, they’ve been able put their distinct, 80s-inspired spin on official remixes for The Chainsmokers, Gryffin, ARIZONA and more.
In June 2018, they released their debut single “Find Our Way” featuring klei which ended up making its way onto the radio, earning the BPM Breaker on SiriusXM and more. Millions of streams later, they found their home at RCA where they continue to write their story and choose to live by a singular statement: “We are all Midnight Kids. Let’s tell our story together.”
Having amassed well over 30 million streams online, singer, songwriter and platinum producer Jared Lee is poised to add significantly to those figures this year. Named a Clear Channel “Artist to Watch,” Jared debuted his first EP, “Falling Through Holes,” with the single “It’s Over (Goodbye)” to critical acclaim, breaking Top 40 in the Hot AC format, and landing the Boston native on several stages across the United States, headlining and opening for some of music biggest names.
Recently, Jared has been writing and producing for a diverse group of globally renowned artists such as Jason Derulo, Jordin Sparks, TIESTO, New Hope Club, New Kids On The Block and has been enlisted by some of the world’s top DJ’s including, Markus Schultz, Fedde Le Grand, Laidback Luke, Disco Fries, Jenaux and CLMD to write or feature as a lead vocalist on their original music.
With his signature soulful vocals and unmistakable falsetto, Jared has quickly landed a bevy of song placements across the Television landscape, including networks NBC, ABC, CBS, ESPN, SHOWTIME and MTV. “It’s Over (Goodbye)” and the emotionally charged “Beautiful World” were featured in back-to-back episodes of FOX’s American Idol, introducing Jared’s undeniable talents to a newly emerging, and what has proved a significantly loyal fanbase.
Jared’s latest single, “Professional Lovers,” was recently featured on billboard.com and includes a set of remixes from MOKITA, an After Hours electric soul version and an intimate, acoustic stripped piano version from Jared. He was invited this past year to come perform the song at iHeart Media headquarters in New York.
